Creative eCommerce Agency IDEACTO can boast another realization for the fashion industry. This time, an online store was created for the clothing brand Si-Mi, characterized by unconventional clothes sewn from the highest quality fabrics.
The idea was to design and implement a functional online store in line with the latest trends. In order to achieve this goal, the IDEACTO team first analyzed the competition operating in the fashion industry. Then, during the workshop, the information architecture and the main functional views were created. The next step was to develop the remaining functional mock-ups and further create graphics based on the Jolanta Aerts project. Then the implementation of the store on the Magento platform was realized.
“In the work on the store for Si-Mi, two aspects were crucial for us - to simplify and shorten the purchasing process as much as possible and to create a website that stands out from the competition, which will attract the attention of a potential customer not only with the assortment itself, but also with an attractive visual side. An important element of the implementation is a solution that allows you to administer the visual layer of the page without the need to know HTML. This is thanks to a dedicated and extensive banner and content management module. The most interesting special sections can be considered: “stylist recommends” and “inspirations”, because they contain unique content, created in accordance with the idea of the brand and the current offer of the store.
When implementing the responsive version of the store, the “flexbox” solution was used, thanks to which the site scales to the requirements of each device. A way of enlarging photographs has also been introduced, inspired by mechanisms from the world's best fashion stores. These two solutions ensure that the website always looks good and is readable.

Si-mi.pl is more than a store, it is a portal that speaks the language of its audience, interactive, diverse with dynamic content (photos, videos, sessions, stylist's advice or lookbook of the month). It was created as a result of intensive work by the Si-Mi and IDEACTO teams, whose effect leaves no doubt” - says Anna Hałas-Krawczyk, President of the Management Board of Si-Mi.
