Dominicans give away gifts and rods using the Facebook app.
Every Facebook user has been able to use the app since yesterday How do they perform? The app allows you to rate your friends by giving out virtual gifts and wands. The rating can be accompanied by congratulations or wishes for improvement.
The application was created by the Ideacto agency for the Polish Province of the Order of Preachers (OO. Dominicans) in order to popularize the presence of the Dominican Order in social media.
At the end of the year, we can summarize our friends by giving them a reprimand and handing them a virtual rod, or by giving a good word and a gift. The app also allows you to enter your own wishes. And all this in a fun form — says Piotr Ciuba OP.
In the first hours of operation of the application, 1005 gifts and 457 sticks were distributed. The application is part of the Dominikanie.pl project. The service attracts tens of thousands of people every month.
