Purpose of the project

The subject of IDEACTO and Eurobank's cooperation was the redesign of the eurobank.pl website, aiming to present the world of personal finance in a more user-friendly manner by adapting it to the needs of a wide range of users. 1. PREDESIGN analysis‍

At this stage, we systematize business requirements, analyze the market environment, and define the needs and expectations of end users

02.

2. Strategic concept

Based on the gathered information and data from the analytical stage during workshops with the client, we develop a strategic concept for the proposed solution

03.

3. Information Architecture and wireframing

Before proceeding to the final project design, we develop the structure of the solution and define the key relationships between the elements of the proposed solution

04.

4. Graphic Design

Based on the guidelines and semi-finished products developed in earlier stages, we create the final graphic design of the solution

05.

5. Testing and optimization

The generated projects undergo testing with users, and after implementation, we carry out optimization based on available quantitative and qualitative data sources

Scope of work

We initiated the design process by simplifying the Information architecture, which also involved refining the offer for Eurobank customers.

One of the critical decisions regarding information architecture was to replace the multi-level, complex menu with simplified navigation, limited to the most frequently accessed subpages by users.

Based on data from Google Analytics reports and heatmaps, we proposed several versions of the menu and validated them through card sorting exercises with users. Consequently, the site's navigation became simpler and more intuitive, facilitating smoother user interaction.

In the next stage, we commenced functional design of subsequent views of the website based on wireframes, upon which graphics were created after client approval, consistent with the style guide we had previously designed.

Efficient collaboration between IDEACTO and Eurobank teams was crucial, ensuring the website's design adhered to usability principles while also achieving the bank's business objectives.

The new eurobank.pl website was launched in early September 2018, allowing us to conduct usability tests on the deployed site, significantly enhancing the credibility and reliability of the results. The study comprised 20 participants recruited based on predefined socio-demographic characteristics outlined in the recruitment guidelines to ensure diversity among participants.

The research format involved usability tests supplemented by individual in-depth interviews (IDI), semi-structured conversations between researchers and participants based on pre-defined scenarios.

The study aimed to verify the usability of Eurobank's new website by observing user behavior and understanding their opinions during website usage, determining whether the proposed solutions adequately met user needs.

Subsequently, based on gathered observations, we compiled a report for the client outlining observed issues, recommendations for solutions, and proposed changes. The final phase entailed comparing the results of predefined website parameters in Google Analytics for analogous periods before and after the new website's launch, as well as heatmaps of the old and new websites.

The collaboration between IDEACTO and Eurobank on the website started in January 2018 and ended in December 2019.
